Ryan T. Sears focuses his practice on traditional labor relations, including collective bargaining, labor law counseling, and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) investigations and litigation in unfair labor practice and representation proceedings. He has extensive experience representing management in state and federal injunction matters, strikes, contract administration and negotiations, organizational campaigns, and labor arbitrations.
A former NLRB field attorney, Ryan brings deep knowledge of NLRB practices and procedures. He also advocates for public sector employers and those covered by the Railway Labor Act (RLA). With more than 10 years of experience as a management-side defense attorney, Ryan serves a diverse client base across industries including transportation, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and manufacturing. His practice includes representing clients with both established bargaining relationships and those newly encountering union or other forms of concerted employee activity.
